Wind and Rain

On this cold, windy, rainy day the sun came out. In the rain, I walked to my destination. The wind and rain blew on me as I walked. I thought I was never going to get there, but I eventually did.

Now I am stopped up. Wind and rain are beautiful. I enjoy the smell that it brings, it is very refreshing. The grass and trees and flowers are watered and the earth is refreshed.

Birds are still flying around as if nothing is going on. They are still singing their beautiful songs for us to enjoy; I just wonder what the words are to their music. I often wonder if they like each other’s music.

The wind is still blowing , and the rain is still falling, but all in all I still see art in the wind and rain. Never stop looking for art, it is all around us even in the elements. ©2020

Diagonal Flow and movement.

Spring in the Morning.

Enjoying myself in the Spring time. Blessed and very thankful.

Spring in the morning.

I took these pictures at my job. This tree is so beautiful in the morning when it has the blooms, because of the wind they blow off. When the morning comes again it reblooms. I have never seen a tree like this before. I look forward to seeing it in full bloom every morning.

How amazing it is to get to experience something so wonderful as that every day. There is no telling how old, or how young that tree is. I am so glad God created it.

One day I am going to take some pictures when I am off, so that way I will not have to be in a rush, I can take my time and have fun.

I can send some to my children so they can see me enjoying my life. I want them to know that I am happy.

Stay tuned for more pictures of Spring in the morning. ©2020

Art in Winter

First, I want to say that I am back. I have taken some time off from writing to look at all of the things around me and just enjoy my life. As I sit and think about all that has happened these last few days, it makes me want to love even more the ones I care about, and those that are lost and alone. You know, it takes something to happen just to make people realize that life is precious, a special gift from God; we only have one and we should live it to the fullest, never take life for granted.

Now that Winter has fully set in, I am enjoying the cool crisp breezes that welcomes us from day to day. Yes, there are still leaves that did not leave when Fall came, so they are enjoying the long days of Winter.

Although it is cold and rainy some days, there is art in the Winter rain. It comes and goes as it pleases, the sun comes out, but it is still cold, and yet it is still beautiful. Winter clouds grace the sky in their own fluffy way making patterns in the sky. They move on to their destinations until they return the next day. Night clouds comes out with the Stars and the moon as they give the night sky twinkles of light. What beautiful art is created for us to enjoy as we look up at the night sky.

Art in Winter to me is walking in the park with the one that I love. Making memories that we can someday tell our grandchildren. Watching favorite movies, laughing, crying happy tears of joy, and eating together as a family.

Art in Winter to me is also enjoying all that God has given us to appreciate. Whenever I look at the Winter flowers , I see art. Whenever I look at the trees, I see art. I see art in Winter.

Never stop looking for art, it is all around us, even in Winter. ©2020

Geometrical Abstract Art. Very pretty.

Where Art is Done

Sometimes we think that art is only done on canvas, but it isn’t. Art is created on many things in many ways. When we think about art, we think about brushes, paint thinner, oils, neutrals, and pastels. We never think about those of us that see our bodies as a canvas. When we put different colors on our hair, that is art. It is an expression of one’s self. When we do our nails, that is a form of art, it is an extension of who we are, and how we express ourselves. When we do our make up, that is a form of art. It is beautification. It makes us feel and look even more beautiful. It increases our self-esteem. When we dress, that is a form of art. It shows that we are well kept together, and we care how we look, and we care about how carry ourselves.

Don’t just limit art to the canvas, it is everywhere; all around us, even we are a work of art, because we were created by the ultimate artist, the Creator of all the universe, Almighty God! ©2019

There is Art all Around Us

Every time I look around me I see something that is a work of art. When I look up at the sky, I know it was created by the hands of God. As I look at the flowers, I know they were created by holy artistic hands that only could be created by the Master Artist Himself. When we look at ourselves, we are looking at beautiful masterpieces that are unique in their own way. When I look at the clouds, they are all different in color and in shape. There is art in the universe that we cannot see with the naked eye, that resembles things that can only be seen with a high powered telescope.

Everything about our bodies is a work of art inside and out. Every cell is a work of art created by our heavenly Master Artist. Creativity comes from within. We all have creativity that we use on a daily basis without even knowing it. One is writing, drawing, the way we speak, how we dress, using our imagination… the list goes on and on. When we think about it, we are all artists in our own way. All of God’s creation is a work of art, and it will always be here for every generation to enjoy. Whenever you are outside, take some time to look at all of the beautiful art that is all around us.©2019

This is not my piece, but it is beautiful. I am looking at the abstract part of it and the things I see in it.
To me this picture represents abstract. Yes, it is a picture of buildings, but it is also a picture of abstract art. When you look closely at this picture, you will see the letter “T”, you can also see the letter”V”, you can also see how the clouds come together in the reflection from the buildings to form a geometric circle. Art in the sky of heaven. ©2019

What is Abstract?

Abstract-(adjective)-[1]. Existing in thought or as an idea but not having a physical or concrete existence.

“Abstract concepts: such as love or beauty”

Synonyms: theoretical, conceptual, notional, intellectual, metaphysical, philosophical, academic;

[2]. Relating to abstract art.

“Abstract pictures that look look commercial color charts”

Synonyms: nonrepresentational, nonrealistic, nonpictorial, symbolic, impressionistic “abstract art”

I just wanted to add the definitions concerning the word abstract, and a few other words that mean the same thing. This is something that I do just because it feels right. I want everyone to understand my art work so that when it is looked at, people will know what kind of art it is. I have always loved art. I have always been a fan of all types of art; not just abstract. I have always been able to find the beauty in different kinds of art. I hope to some day see my work in art galleries being enjoyed by all who love art just as much as I do. ©2019

This is an amazing piece. In this piece, I see a guitar, a dogs face, and grass in the background, water, and a upside down golf club. I believe it represents music and sports, and man’s best friend flowing together like water in the ocean. ©2019

My New Art Blog

This is my new Abstract Art blog. I have always loved to draw; it is a God given talent. When I was just a little girl in kindergarten, I first learned to paint on foil paper with water colors. I loved the way I could be creative and just let my imagination run wild. It is still the same way today. I have totally improved over the years. All of my drawings have stories connected to them as to what they mean, but it is hard to explain as to how that part came about. All I know is that it is very stress releasing to me. As I collect all of my art and take pictures of it and post it here along with the stories that pertains to the piece. I hope it is enjoyed by all,and it is all for sale.
