I feel inspired to paint my own piece on canvas to tell my own story in just a few colors that speaks to me. I see the blacks, whites, and grays, and tan browns through the light and dark of the black and white which makes gray. As I look at this piece, I see little objects just as I see big ones, and the crosses that are there. A road is there leading to a destination unknown to the viewer, but known to the artist who created such beauty makes one think of the past. Think of the gray days when snow was on the ground and the sky was gray and cloudy while the fog just lingered. The darkness, in my eyes represents dark days of the past and present, see the beams as one stands and the other one leans to the floor, but holding on for dear life because it does not want to let go of what it is holding on to.

Just like us, we want to hold on to things that we know we need to let go of, but it is a hard thing to do when we have carried it so long. No matter where we are in this world, we are holding on to something that may have hurt us, and we feel if we let go of it, we will become weak, but the truth of the matter is this, it will make us strong and our heart and soul will become lighter and happier. All of those dark days will be brightened once again, but the memories will still be there.

I will come back and revisit this painting because it really speaks to me in a lot of ways. This is a beautiful painting. The artist really just let his artistic ability flow through this piece of art.
